2008 Aston Martin DBS vs. 2009 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano - Car and Driver

+Ferrari may be faster, but for on the roads I'll take the Aston, it's a better all rounder.

I'm no player hater. I can't afford either of them but if one was given to me as a gift, I'd be exceptionally happy. If I had a choice, I'd choose the DBS. It is one of my dream cars, the One-77 being my first. I do wonder, however, what kind of upgrades you can put in an Aston martin to make it a little faster... Aston Martin DBS and One-zz for life!

Oh I don't care that 599 wins the comparison, the DBS is way more beautiful inside and out! Of course the Ferrari is faster, but who cares when the Aston is still supercar fast for a GT and also looks so nice! I still take the DBS over 599 any day!

i have seen the race between 599 and SLR the last win despite its 3.8 second and 599 3.3

i love the aston's styling but i wouldn't buy it just bc the tach is backwards. and the 599's styling hasn't won me over yet. i prefer the styling of the 550/575. ferraris have had quad taillights since the beginning of time. why did they change that? i think that for a GT car the bentley continental GT gets my vote. less expensive as well.

they are 2 different cars for 2 types of clients. i personally like aston martin for it s class and design, but somebody else who likes extreme performances and sportivity may prefere ferrari. but i guess lamborghini has both great design and extreme performance;)

I definitely understand where you are coming from. I was just making the statement just because they pulled more hp out of it that doesn't make it at all less reliable im sure those fire problems are caused by a much larger problem. However i do like the DBS better its more smooth yet aggressive looking at the same time and the deep v12 sounds orgasmic.
