All this Free Tibet stuff has nothing to do with Michael Phelps training for four years in an attempt to win 8 gold medals. It has nothing to do with gymnasts training to get a perfect 10 in any gymnast event. It has nothing to do with someone trying to win a sprint in track and field.

Here's the problem. There are going to be political hooplas that will try to interfere with the Olympic Games.
If these protesters have a beef, they should blame the IOC for picking Beijing to host the games, not the Olympic followers.

Chinese do/protest in Paris, London, SF...around the world. Yet, Why China cannot open up FULLY to allow journalists, diplomats, and independent observers into Tibet&China? Can the world protest in China? Can Chinese protest in China? That's why the world hates Chinese! Brainwashed cow/ox?

Facts are: (1) more and more Westerners are moving to China; (2) more and more overseas Chinese are returning; (3) majority of Chinese went out of China not because they don't like their gvnt nor want "freedom", but because the living standard was still low. Chinese government should have let the riots go on, should have allowed those people waving knifes on the street killing innocent people, burning shops,...in order to host the Olympic games. Is that some are suggesting here?
People in Western countries and in China should stop demonizing each other; instead they should know each other better. What you see here is each was influenced by their own very biased media. Western media did the worst job this time, even showing fake pics and videos.
