( Attention, this is my opinion, and not every European thinks like me. however, i do believe i speak with the words of most Europeans. ) I do not want turkey, and Israel in the EU, not because i have anything against them, but its just that they are not European. 3. Yes we do, a little but no very much, since it wasn't us, the modern Europeans who did it. 4. Yes we are very worried. 5. probably France and Germany. i wouldn't like it to be like that, but it just is.

Economy sometime fails. That's when politics comes in. We maybe don't need the EU today, but we might need it in the future. Following your logic we should dissolve all nations (ex. UK, France, Poland) and focus on regions because the economy is intertwined. Bullshit.
