"Don't Cry for Me" is a song of comfort for those who have lost a loved one. I am so blessed that God gave me this song to share with you. If you're watching this video, you have probably lost someone very close and dear to you, and my heart goes out to you. God gave me this song in January of 2009 for Duane Clark, a grieving widow who had just lost her husband and soulmate of 57 years. My song was written in memory of Fred Clark; my brother, Mark Allen; and my best friend Mitzi Colvin. I've been led to create this video to be able to share my song with more people so if you know of someone who would benefit from hearing my song and/or watching the video, please feel free to post this youtube link into your facebook and/or other social networking site, and to forward it to your friends and relatives. I am humbled to know that God chose me to give this special message to those who are grieving. I took most of the photos that appear on the video but also want to thank my friends who contributed photos. The sound track can be added to the "single CD with lyrics". Scroll down with the arrow for the narrative when my song comes up to play and my official website is listed there. Thank you so much for this. My brother, age 25, passed away on New Years Day, two days ago. He was born 6 weeks premature and had cerebral palsy. His life was filled with pain - surgeries, suffering. He could not walk, talk, eat by mouth and needed total care his entire life. He went through SO much! This song fits him perfectly. My mom was looking around online to find something to fit him and she found this song. She ordered your CD too. Thank you!!!!

I believe God uses trials to make us stronger. Having experienced the trial of the death of both my brother Mark, and my best friend Mitzi to cancer, I experienced grief that gave me the heartfelt compassion to create this song that I can now share with others! Without those experiences there most likely would be no song..... Amazing how God uses tragedy for the good.

Libby,  We lost my mother on January 13, 2011 the day you uploaded this video. My mother's Birthday was Saturday and my Dad came across this totally by accident... I love your song, When I am gone I don't want people to cry for me I want them to remember me as I was. My daughter and son lost there father a few months ago and its not been easy for them. I was married to him for 13 years so I had a past with him also. I try hard to be a good mom to them to help them along the way., They are 18 and 20 but we are a very close family and its just hard.
