I am well aware that you should not aim for the HEAR. but the the contrary you are aiming for a double lung and heart shot dipshit. as it turns out the ARTERIES you speak of happen to be in the heart area. And I am aware that the goal is to USUALY bleed the animal into the lungs. And since your COUSIN is the bow hunter perhaps you should STFU about a subject you know nothing about. My Diamond would and has made short work of an elk SHOULDER BTW learn to spell.

@ZoKtorR Gotta news flash for you...just because your meat comes in a styrofoam container wrapped in plastic doesn't mean something didn't die. 100 years ago EVERYBODY killed their own meat in America, still a common practice in many parts of the world today. One day the grocery store will be filled with empty shelves & broken glass. As you slowly starve to death, we hunters will still be enjoying our barbecue. Don't pretend you're better just because somebody else kills your meat.

@magedon44 i know this may be late, but it really depends on your bow poundage. if you are going with a lighter bow, go with a 2 blade. more penetration and less kinetic energy to go to waste. if your shooting a stronger bow then feel free to go with a 3 blade version. my personal preference is "RAGE" mechanical broad heads.
