I have always thought that too. I think Satriani is too modest to do it, which is very unfortunate, since even if you asked him to play his worst composition ever, it would probably still come out good. Heck, what you call good music is subjective anyway, I am sure he has unreleased work that sound better to me than some of his released work. But I cannot possibly demand any more; his music has affected me way more than anyone else's.

joe is always in touch with his guitr, and what he feels is whats plays, he is among the best ever referenced, or acclaimed, i really think he has iffluenced more ppl than jimi or eddy, or page and that says alot, did i forget angus, or adrian, or vinnie and so many others, point blank he is one of the best and even while not sweating and swearing trying to figure out one of his pcs, the joy he brings too me, is a gift from above.

My mind is blown... I heard this song before, it's familiar, I KNOW IT. I thought it was surely in my JS collection. I can't seem to find it. I know it's called "Satch Dreams" but JS must have put it as an hidden track or something on one of his past albums... it doesn't sound that recent so... AHHHH!!!!!

@elblopex haha yeah !! :D
On Friday 6th February 1998, Joe Satriani made a special visit to Guitarist's London studio to record a unique piece of music, especially for the readers of the magazine
Jan Cyrka had created a backing track in a style which he knew Joe would feel comfortable with: "The most amazing thing about it was that he'd never heard it before. I just played a few bars so he could get the gist of what the track was all about ... then I ran the tape and he just did it. First take! It was completely amazing
