Loyalty is for family and close friends. Loyalty to an employer or school is CONDITIONAL. If I was a Penn State football player I definitely would have transferred. Then I would have slept like a baby. If an athlete tears up his knee he loses a lot of friends and maybe his scholarship. There is nothing as disappointing as being loyal to an employer then getting the shaft. A school isn't much different. Don't drink the Kool-Aid.
