The problem isn't relationships, it's that people end up in relationships with the wrong people. In most cases, you just meet a total stranger, and hope that they will work out. Most people pick their mates based on lust, not any type of logical evaluation. Then they get married to this person because they feel that it is the "thing to do" or because they got pregnant, or some other equally retarded reason.

My former best friend dated a girl for 4 years who had a personality exactly like Ant's ex-wife; mean, controlling, and psychotic. What was scary was how unbelievably sweet & kind she was in the first year of their relationship; I thought he'd struck gold!
