Changing Places toilets

Over 230,000 people need Changing Places toilets - with a hoist, changing bench, and plenty of space - yet there are only 85 across the UK. This is unacceptable. Without Changing Places toilets, people are denied the right to access their communities. Sometimes the only alternative to staying at home is being changed on a dirty toilet floor. This is undignified, unhygienic and degrading.

This is scary. Do people really have to change on floors? Some toilets have baby changing type facilities....

Hi fantasticrosebush - yes this is the reality for many parents and carers.Baby changing facilities are not suitable as they are not big enough.

And you people out there, you make sure those disabled toilets are clean AND superior. The sick and disabled are not second class citizens to Jesus. In Jesus they are exalted. He is alive in the sick and disabled like nowhere else on earth. The sick and disabled are God's Kings and Queens and they take up their promised seats with the King himself. Everything they sacrifice in this life for Him, is returned a hundred fold in the next. See you there!
