It's not so much bright eyes is bad, it's that barnett's voice can almost move me to tears. You can tell how intensely he feels the pain of his own lyrics. Oberst has never done that for me. Also, bright eyes is for the college pop fan, while kols is, at heart, a garage/punk group. An emotionally fueled and folksy punk group, but a punk group.

yes! i love this song. ben barnett is probably the best song writer of the whole indie/emo scene. f bright eyes KOLS FTW!!!
