It's a scam until he gets the credit card number? Then why's he giving it to him for free? That pretty much validates it IMO, I'm only 17 and I don't have any kid or anything like that so I can't speak on the behalf of people with unruly kids but the guy on the phone can and it sounds pretty legit the way hes talking about it...
