because our scools poor, and we are a military style marching band so we rarely use tenors and we just recently started doing drumline features

There's really no point in you talking to these kids anyways on here. Alot of the ones who reply to you on these comments aren't even in the band and don't know any better, nor are they smart enough to keep a sensible argument going.

You just have to realize that highschool kids today don't understand the musicality and technique required to play Tchaikovsky and Bach, or any other composer; Reed, Handel, etc, etc.

They're more into this because it's all the students outside of band know.

I'm sorry you're so thin skinned it offends you. I ver much hope that you came after my time, I'd hate to think you where one of my freshman acting, or speaking, like a fool. I spent my 7 years with Vidor Bands, from middle school to senior year. My mother wrote the drum parts you play to things like cyrus and a lot of the other traditional music.

I get to make commentary as an alumni, as a former bandsmen, and as a musician.
