...The press has not helped with all their Axl hates Slash vice versa which I do not believe to be the case. The problem is their egos, they hurt each other pretty bad and now neither wants to back down or seen to be the one backing down. I just hope that one day they can make it happen, these guys were like brothers at one point, together they conquered the world, I dont think they hate each other but neither of them will admit it. Sigh, someone should just lock them in a bar or something

There is clearly some major issues between Axl and Slash. Slashes rage built up through years of having to tip toe around Axl, I think that post 94 when Axl went totally nuts and became a complete musical dictator he started messing with Slashes solos and overdubbed him with other players etc (Sympathy for the Devil for example) that really hurt Slash (quite understandably IMO). Clearly Slash had enough and they said/did things to each other that they cannot forgive... (sorry this is long)

...then the questions about reunion will get 10 times worse. He doesnt want to get involved with Steven because Steven is very open about wanting to get the band back together and playing with him would open another can of worms. It has to be remembered that Axl is very insecure about people and press misinterpriting and twisting his words, he always has been. As far as Im aware Slash would be open to the idea of a reunion but wont go out of his way to make it happen....
