  • The other video by Captkirk dec 2010 shows 5.5m.

  • @JetMechMA Yes i saw that around the time it happened, notice the turbulence in the video is nearly similar to mine , 1.5 m of water wouldn't make that. Anyway mate i like your aircraft vids, i've always had a fascination with planes.....

  • There is a video on Youtube that shows the height on the day this video was taken...1.5 meters, not 4 meters. There is another video that shows the water nearly touching the bottom of the bridge, which would be the 14.5 feet mentioned. But this video doesn't show it.

  • @JetMechMA - I was there and i don't bullshit, the bridge you probably saw was the one in town that eventually went under, the river in town rose to 15.36 meters.....(Oh water can't rise that high can it????) if water nearly got high to the bridge on this video it would be 15 meters over the dam wall hahahaha

  • @qwertygnf Exactly....which is not shown in this video. Others show it that high, but not this one.

  • @JetMechMA Your trippin........... fuck off.

  • @qwertygnf Maybe I'm misjudging the scale of what I'm seeing. Is it true that there is a similar but smaller bridge like this near the town? Because the video of that bridge showed the water going over a spillway and the level was near the bottom of the roadway. I thought I was looking at the same bridge. My apologies to qwerty and all here if that is true. I must have misjudged the scale. I haven't posted any airplane vids. But I have admired quite a few other people's aviation videos.

  • Right over in the rh column of videos a video shows the water at the same height as this one and it says 1.5 meters. It is "Fairbairn Dam Overflow" by billybowyer121.

  • @qwertygnf Dude, just compare videos where water hasn't yet gone over the spillway. The spillway is just beneath the water in this video. In the other video the water is almost up to the bridge. This video doesn't show the high water mark. The other video does.

  • @JetMechMA 14.56feet is the peak height, this video was taken about 6 hours before the peak of 4.4m, when i left to go to the dam the height on the gauge was 3.7m and rising, i know it might be 10 cm under 4m in this video, but 4 meters is close enough for me. ILL SAY OFFICIALLY ITS 12.79 FEET IN THIS VIDEO.
