Why I'll never drive in Puerto Plata

This was a quiet day driving into town. Not nearly as much honking or jerkiness of the car. To get the full experience, imagine breathing lungfulls of propane while viewing!

this is a calm taxi driver... i've been in taxis down there that were much more crazy... try being in a taxi full of people, a chicken and a lady who was carrying a large pot of soup... in total, 12 people in a mini van... now that's nuts... if you think driving in a taxi is scary, try getting on one of the scooters... that's where i thought my life was over... but they are excellent drivers... i have to admit that at least

@amnobrega Yeah, it was slightly disappointing that we didn't nearly die for the video because we'd had this driver several times before I thought to record the ride!

We never even considered the scooters. The moment I saw 5 people on one, including a toddler and how buddy was driving it, it was never going to happen.

Im a 23 year old canadian country boy, i have a house down there. Know that city really well, i love driving down there. Been driving there since i was 13 , dumptrucks even. Never a problem, but every second you have to have eyes on the back of your head.

@bmw295 The scooters down there are crazy. I saw 5 people also. A baby in between the mother and the driver, one on her back, and a toddler standing between the driver's legs...
