To elaborate on his post, instead of going left at the water tower to "Bearclaw Poppy" take a right which will take you to barrel.Stay left because there is two single tracks, and one will only take you downhill. When you stay left it will take you uphill for a long ways just keep going, you will run in the this drop off after a long while.
At the top of the Bearclaw poppy trail right before you hop the fence/bar to start bearclaw...turn around and look behind you for a small singletrack heading north away from bearclaw. That's the trail you want.
