One of my favorite Bon Jovi songs featuring a cool, inspiring monologue from Jon about four minutes in.

A great song.

  • do these speeches come off the top of his head or does he write them down and remmeber them

  • I think some he remembers and reuses in different shows, but this one I've never heard before or since.

  • Wow! What A Fantastic Song And Video!

  • This is why i love Bon Jovi... my life is based on their lyrics... without them i probably wouldn't even still be alive...their words is what gets me through each day... thank you for being on this earth guys <3

  • Thanks for the lyrics.

  • the wonders of music!!! the magic of Bon Jovi!!! awesome way to engage the audience with a little speech in the middle of a song. too bad i am born 10 years too late and i missed all the nice things. but then again, at least i get to appreciate the real stuff!!

  • @Marooshaz Yes you're right!

  • If you like this kind of spreches , find DRY COUNTY OSAKA , i think is the best sprech that i know but that isnt in youtube yet...if somebody find, please message to me ...thanks

yeah, it's always sad when a singer starts to lose the sound that made you love them in the first place.

listening to slippery, then comparing it to later albums just about sounds like a different singer

  • @aerorox1263 He started smoking in '96 which hurt him as a singer a lot. He quit the habbit however right before The Circle tour and his voice has got much better if you listen to the recent O2 shows. He's not fantastic still, but give him 2 or 3 years and I think he's gonna sound awesome again, because the improvement from LH tour is obvious.

  • @Marooshaz I wish he could still sing like he used to. Why can't he? Voice damage? Preservation? Sometimes I wish I had a time machine.
