Not a six, this is the 1.6 litre 4 cylinder turbo with dry sump lubrication.
Derived from the Mini engine and related to the WRC Countryman and to the WTCC BMW 3 series track car engines.
As far as I know they are built in a facility of the BMW Motorsport workshops and supplied to the car builders as a sealed unit.
I have seen the WRC cars being put together at Prodrive in the UK.

seems to be a BMW six cylinder engine and having seen the production plant of the original Mini Countryman in Graz, Austria i can say that the headlamps may be the same ^^
