  • Junichi, did you sew that or did you use glue? I tried sewing Tyvek...very hard to sew.

  • Ahhh.... nothing like a good indian lodge sweat house.... 

  • This looks like soft tyvek. I've tried to use the "hard" tyvek...used as house wrap during construction..to make tents and it's very noisy in the wind. Is your tent loud? In any case: Great Job!! I'm impressed.

  • @hrwulf The same thing happens to nylon if subjected to a year of constant uv radiation. Most retail gear won't last with half a year of constant use. I would consider it a fluke of chance of something lasted a year that way.

  • Take a piece of Tyvek and leave it outside for a year or two. Come back and tell me what you think , when it tears as easily as paper.
