It's funny how political speeches don't work nearly as well on the internet as they might sway a tearful crowd of housewives and homeless people in person. I wish politicians would just say how they really feel about their constituents: that they are a bunch of plebeian idiots, the mechanics of human emotions being so easily swayed by crisp white shirts and reassuring voices, and that they are their ticket to "fame" and European country clubs in a few years.

Here is how America is exceptional when compared to other industrail countries:
1. We are first when it comes to the amount of children living in poverty: 20%
2. We are first when it comes to the amount of money we spend on the military: over 630 billion dollars. China comes in a close second at around 125 billion.
3. We are first when it comes to how many citizens we put in prison: 700 thousand. Italy comes in second at 100 thousand.
4. Infant mortality rates per live birth--#1

Sorry, but we can no longer have executives in office who are in denial of the world around them. That includes fundamental scientific truths such as the evolutionary history of life. You can live on a flat earth if you desperately want to, but your political career is over.
