Sunset Riders -- Bounties 3, 4, and 5 (and Bonus Stage)

Well, after a small taste, we start getting into the meat of things. This band of colorful cowboys and professional bounty hunters uh...I don't know, was there a story to this game, or just "cowboys are fun, bang-bang!"?

Oh well, it's all in good fun...and I will admit that there's a certain primal draw to the whole genre. How can you say "no" to a game with the fourth player as a pink poncho-wearing, dual shotgun-toting bounty hunter named "Cormano"? ...of course, curse that Cormano for stealing so many of Steve's bounties. Interestingly, in the event of a tie, the bounty is paid out in full to BOTH players...funny how that works. Then again, increments of $10,000 per successive bounty, $100 for a random thug...even $10 for shooting a barricade object blocking you from getting a clean shot at your target...that's just crazy amounts of money even these days, let alone back then...I guess that's the hazard you face when you use dollars instead of singular meaningless "points"...

Oh, and get an earful of those cutting edge voice clips! I hate to break it to you, but Steve, Billy, Bob, and Cormano all sound exactly the same. Identical-voice quadruplets separated at birth! Enjoy the one-dimensional character stereotype bosses, too...but I guess that only makes sense, since you're going to have to kill them anyway...

Funny how stage performers seem to know the goings on with a cadre of highly-wanted men, but the professional bounty hunters needed the tip...and here we wasted our time on Simon Greedwell before this point. Sheesh.
