@welovemrp00 The problem is that Randi is a liar and lazy in what little he does bother to research. Mostly, he simply says everything is impossible and he does NOT look at the evidence. Anything "psi" is dismissed by him. Even when noted scientists such as Schwarz does a study and mediums read people who were hidden from view and only allowed to answer with yes or no at 87% accuracy for some of them consistently, Randi lies and dismisses it. that is simply the real disservice.

@thenigotoffthebus He does NOT promote critical thinking. He is LAZY and he LIES. Her promotes SKEPTICAL THINKING. I would call those two different things. critical raises scientific question that does not involve emotion but sees a weakness and points it out. Skeptical thinking STARTS with doubt...an emotion, a FEELING. Randi LIES about many of the things he has said and does lazy research IF and when he does it at all. He' simply doesn't believe, not based on science but on his feeling!

It's silly to say he's well respected. He is not respected AT ALL in the scientific community because he does NOT use the Scientific Method. He does NOT accept probability, chaos theory or any other scientific principle. He's just a doubter that's popular on the mainstream media because they don't like anything that challenges their preconceived notions. Anyone who looks into psi with more than a passing glance and sees the statistics whether from NDE's or psychic abilii.e. U.S., Military.
