Born just 4 months before me Matthew was bright, energetic, motivated, friendly and kind. For that he was beaten, kicked, pistol whipped, tied to a cattle fence with his own shoe laces, robbed and left to die. Matthew's parents asked the courts to show mercy on his murders where they did not show it to him. Rest his body upon this earth, fix his memory with-in your mind and shelter his family in your heart.
