Finally, I now have one of my absolute favorite pieces uploaded on my Channel.
I wanted to learn this a couple a weeks after I started the piano last year, and when started it I soon realized that it was Way to hard for me at the time.

Sheet: http://www.free-scores.com/PDFSUP/chopin-frederic-nocturnes-opus-version-from...

But in December 08 I decided that I had waited long enough, and that it was about time to try again :) It wasn't to hard to learn, but I wanted to use good time to perfect it. I feel I got the interpretation down 100% the way I want it!!!! :) Its mostly inspired by Arthur Rubinstein's interpretation! I have worked to get the 4finger-trill-thingy near the end exactly like he did it.

The only thing that I feel lacks in this video... is a Grand and good Rec-Possibilities :)
Cause even though Im satisfied with the audio, some things gets lost from my piano and me, when It has to travel trough a cheap wire and through Audiocity :P

But I hope you enjoy :)
Thomas

Ps: I might make a sheet-vid to this recording as I see some others got out there!
Especially if there is interest in one

  • Your performance is taking my breath away! Especially now when Poland is experiencing such an unspeakable loss... [*][*][*]

  • @kocior1987 All the best to Poland in this moment!!

  • Fine job! I listened all the way through, and honestly, the only way you can top this performance is if you play this on a Concert Grand. That would be my 2nd request - for you to play this on a grand. :-)

  • @cebukid70 Thanks :) Well the Audio in the new version will be better than this, since I got a new Pc with better Audio :) And I know how to adjust the settings better, but yeah, If I only had a Grand I would play it;) hehe

  • @thomandy Good and still quite reasonably priced (at least if you find a lot of use for it) way of improving audio is to purchase a usb-audio interface, such as a fasttrack pro, and a pair of condenser microphones... you get very good quality for a total of some 400€.

  • @saheltaja My new videos like the new performance of the Op 9 No 2 is a lot better because of my new pc :) It gets a lot better to record via cable rather than to use a mic on this piano since the audio is better than then pianos speakers can achieve to send :)
