Much to my delight, a tight string line across the top of my
greenhouse roof has turned the structure into a giant sound sculpture with just the slightest breeze out of the SW.

  • Your string is resonating at 410 Hz or a physical pitch of G#

An example of a true wind instrument !

  • Song of the Tao...

  • Kind of amazing! I also love the way the string continues right across the screen with it's own shadow too. Cool.

  • Pretty amazing, John. Serendipity at it's finest. I wonder, what would happen if you lengthened or shortened the string? Would it change the pitch? Could be the world's largest musical instrument!

  • I may be crazy but I like it. I may have to loop that for a nap.

  • Meditation string I think!
