Pencils are not ACTUAL pencils people. He's not talking about writing utensils. "Pencils" in comicbooks are drawn art pages, without having been inked or colored. It's black and white, almost sketch art. That is called "pencils". When an artist like Jim Lee is credited with a book he's not called "artist: Jim Lee" it's "Pencils by: Jim Lee" or "Penciler: Jim Lee". 60 dollars for a page of pencils is fairly cheap, pros for Marvel or DC can get anywhere from 100-400 per page.

terrible video, lol yea thats gonna cost u like 60 dollars man for some pencils lmfao! what newton pencils? you can get art materials cheap ass, if you know where to look, the only thing which should cost ya is the inks. and even those you can get online relatively cheap. I could make a comic book for roughly $20 max if I used the computer to colour it
