@longcut93 the real federal q siren bounces off all off the buildings, and in NYC the buildings are so close together it causes noise pollution- so the pa300 was the siren of choice (featured here) until FDNY and the city allowed for the electronic "q" or EQ2B to be installed on the new rigs

@luckysod04 they are aloud to have them... only electric Q's... and if they are on the rigs when they go in for serviing or anything like that... they are taken off... believe it or not the city has some nosie thing... and reg. Q's exceed it... they can have them but they cannot ring out. in departments just above the city they can have all the Q they want... my department is crazy with Q's!

For a supposedly "tough" city their sure a whiny bunch of pussies. Maybe the people who's lives are endanger should sue the city for being to slow.
