I have had this ramp since I got my jeep, but never really use it because I am lazy. I was thinking the other day that it would be nice to use it so that I could save some wear and tear on the dogs joints, mainly from jumping out of the jeep. Isabelle is only 5, but she weighs 58 pounds and I worry about her jumping out of the jeep.

Hope this helps some of you.

If you notice that in a few of the clips I am also clicking Bandit for a 2 on 2 off at the end of the car ramp. I was thinking that if some of you had a ramp, but you do not have a dog walk for agility, you could totally use the ramp to get the 2 on 2 off behavior. Hmmmm Just a thought! I like to think. hehe!

Have a great day!

  • I really do wish you could edit your own posts on YouTube. I think my spell-checker went crazy. it is supposed to read 'the history and that old buildings WILL knock you out' !! Do you know anyway of correcting posts?

  • @Dblox11 I do not know how to spell check posts! I mess up all the time, so no worries! I think it comes from typing fast and thinking too quickly. :) I totally understood what you meant! :)

  • @pamelamarxsen You will love England .... the history and the old building with knock you out. We live near Oxford which is lovely. All the colleges etc. Also we often visit a pub that Inspector Morse used to frequent!! If your project comes good and you need any info or advice then, by all means, contact me. Things like hotels etc. can be so much easier if you have local knowledge. I know London quite well as I was born there. Hope it works out for you!!

  • @Dblox11 Thank you so much!!

  • Yep, she's a sweetheart. Her 'pup' is nearly 11 and is completely nuts ..... still thinks he's a puppy. We all love our dogs don't we! Anyway, thanks for the response ..... that's nice! BTW, I am in England so isn't it great your advice travels so far?

  • @Dblox11 My friend Emily (Kikopup) and I have been asked to come give a canine freestyle seminar in England. We are working out the details and if it is a go, I will let you know. :) I would love to visit England! It just looks so amazing in photos and in the movies! :)

  • good job, thanks!

  • @Dblox11 Thanks! I am so happy that it helped your lab! She sounds like a really sweet dog! Wow, 14 and still going strong even if she is a bit shaky :) , that is awesome! :)

  • This is brilliant ... we followed all the steps with our Lab who is nearly 14 and a bit shaky on her legs. The treat method worked nicely ..... but then again she is a Lab and will do absolutely anything for food! Your video is great!!

  • Oh, the joys of doing this stuff when the dog is still young. Having done Search & rescue with the last dog, clued us into the necessity for just this train long before you're actually confronted with the situation. And it's fun then too!
