Ten years after the publication of the Bristol Royal Infirmary Inquiry, the Bob Sang Open Space team invited Sir Ian Kennedy to deliver a lecture which opened a debate about progress in patient-centred care

The Inquiry itself was the result of a powerful campaign by parents, including Maria Von Hildebrand, now Patient and Public Stakeholder Engagement Manager on the Research Capability Programme, Department of Health. Sir Ian Kennedy, who led the inquiry, offered his insights on the progress being made towards genuinely patient-focused healthcare provision in the current economic climate.
