My E5200 Oc @ 3.33GHz with HD5770

What voltage did you have your e5200 set at for 4ghz?
I ask because my first e5300 needed a toasty 1.46v for stable 4ghz yet my second one (the one im using now) can get it on 1.385 on a good board.

@Annihitate no problem :D
-
@FireVortex720 okay. thank you ;)
*downloads prime95*
-
@Annihitate thats fine, you can defintinly push it further. what cooler r u using? just make sure after u clocked it, run prime95 for at least 24 hours.
-
@FireVortex720 um. it's 45 degrees at 100% loaded CPU.
-
@Annihitate it depends. what temps are you getting on idle and on 100% load? have u ran prime95?
-
@FireVortex720 yeh i did now it's 3.4 ;)and you know what.. i'm thinking to push it a bit more. should i? cause like it's overclocked from 2.5 to 3.4 already and nothing bad seems to happen.

@Annihitate im have a e5400 (2.7 at stock), i OC'ed it to 3.4 on a stock cooler. im sure u can push it a bit further.
So, if my computers case is open and I have my stock fan on, my E5200 OC'd at 3,62GhZ can it overheat? Any ideas? Please respond! Thank you!

@huumehemuli99 If your stock fan is installed properly and you haven't changed your VCore you shouldn't have any problems, but sounds like a pretty big overclock without additional VCore so if I was you I would monitor temperatures with e.g. RealTemp, I would try staying under 70C. However, if it really 'overheats' it will shutdown automatically, built in CPU function.

I had one of my e5200 @ 4.08 ghz Gaming Stable , Played gta4 or Crysis for hours ,Never Crashed , Ran 3d mark 06 or Vantage ,Never Crashed (Wouldn't Pass Prime) ...But it was Stable enough for Me and that was with a 20$ After market fan...

@mrjamesb56 Yea this chip can be really great, but it seems mine is slightly degrading now I've had it at 1.36V for over a year now and well I've had to lower my 24/7 clocks to 3.52Ghz

@overclockerfx hey!
i have the same E5200 as you but i havent got that link in the bios (intelligent Tweaker can you help me)???

@Sha12333 I'm guessing you have a different motherboard. You need to find out if your motherboard has an overclocking option and then try to overclock your E5200 from there.
