Look into the letter the CBO sent John Boehner and the $716 billion in Medicare cuts (aka "savings") that happen. Not to mention the CBO estimates that 30 million will still be uninsured under ObamaCare.

The different between McCain's cut and Obama's cut is that Obama used $716 billions to fund Obamacare at the expense of good services for seniors.

According to the Medicare chief actuary, taking $716 Billion from Medicare to support Obamacare is "unsustainable". In fact after Obamacare was passed into law he moved up the date at which Medicare goes broke by about 7 years. So if driving Medicare into insolvency is your idea of cutting waste, then you are as heartless as Obama with his panel of 15 unelected bureaucrats who will decide who gets care & what care they will receive. (Speaking of waste - How about Solyndra?)

But, it does not mean any of those things. It's cuts in waste. I am guessing you do not have an issue denying women healthcare by defunding Planned Parenthood. Yet, you are upset that Obama's program ADDS preventative health care and the Federal Government is reducing waste? When was reducing waste a bad idea? You EXPECT an HMO to do this. Your entire argument against the Affordable Care Act is predicated on the notion that private business are more efficent, yet you are complaining?

For those of you who don't know the details: Obamacare cut $416 Billion from the Medicare funds it will pay to health providers & moved it to Obamacare. The other cut is a $156 B reduction in the amount Medicare pays for Medicare Advantage, also moved to Obamacare. So O didn't cut waste, he cut Medicare. The chief actuary of Medicare testified these cuts are "unsustainable". That being said, there are many examples of Obama's socialism (including Obamacare) & so little room to write.
