Boutin Vs. Turple 3-1-09

During the second peroid a shot was taken at goalie Dan Turple. Taking exception to the shot, Turple came out of his crease to go after one of the Stingrays players. In retaliation, Jonathan Boutin flew across the ice and dropped his gloves to fight Turple. Both goalies received fighting majors, with Turple getting a roughing minor as well. Boutin also received a minor for leaving the crease, another minor for instigating and was ejected with a game misconduct penalty for not having his jersey tied down. Jeremy Duchesne came in to take over for Boutin in net. "While I skated toward (Turple), he started to get taller and taller," said Boutin, who is listed at 6-2 and 205 pounds. "When I got beside him I realized he was way taller than me. There was no way I was going to let him punch Dubuc like he did. I wasn't really thinking about it, I was just trying to stick up for me teammate."
