Grand Master Eddie Chong's brother and student Michael Chong demonstrates how this rare, extremely vicious and deadly art of Fushan Bak Mei, the famous apostate of the Shaolin Temple, is applied on the streets. The movements of this gun disarm can be found in the Bak Mei form Sub Jee.

Note: All techniques shown here are for example only and in very slow motion. They require training, practice and instruction from a qualified instructor. Do not rely on them in a life and death situation without careful assessment
of the risks.

Learn this extremely viscous, deadly, aggressive, rare and highly technical art from Eddie Chong himself.

If you live too far to commute to see him on a regular basis you can purchase his Bak Mei DVDs. They are a 7 series 2 Disc set that contains the 7 forms and their complete applications of Sub Jee, Fa Pao, Chut Dim Mui Fa, Sub Bat Ding Jeung, Sub Bat Moi Kiu, Gou Bo Tui, and Fu Bo. Learn from your own home at your convenience by yourself or with a training partner. After you feel comfortable with the forms and applications you can pay Eddie Chong a visit to polish up what you've learned.

It is highly suggested that you also purchase the Pak Sao Drill and Advanced Chi Sao videos as well. These videos will show you how to spar using the deadly movements of Bak Mei / Pai Mei found in the forms so that you are able to use them in a real fight situation. If you spar using it, when the time comes you will use it!

  • What about bullets?

Wouldn't the man shooting you in the back/chest be a bit of a distraction?

  • The disarm was performed in very slow motion so that everyone could see what my brother Michael was doing. The point of a disarm is to time the disarm and act spontaneously before the shooter has time to react. The shooter is not a distraction. Rather, controlling and disabling him is the main objective.

  • CWCBM,

But no smart gunman would ever take an Asian man hostage. We know all about the martial arts tricks that they do. I would just shoot all the ninjas first then take some fat American hostage.

  • LoL!

  • Hello, I used to be a student of your brother Mike in Aguascalientes, Mexico, he is an excellent sifu and I would like to be his pupil again, does he still living here in Ags?...Greetings for Mexico and keep working in this martial arts

  • My brother is still in Aguascalientes teaching the Chong system of Kung Fu. I will be there sometime in May. Thank you for your kind words!

  • Some Bak Mei practitioners embrace their founder's reputation as a murderer of Shaolin disciples as proof of the superiority of their style. Bak Mei is famous for breaking the neck of Shaolin Temple leader Chi Thien Su / Ji Sin. Bak Mei forms that suggest Bak Mei had many vicious and deadly altercations with Shaolin Monks are Sub-Baat Ding Jeung (18 Crazy Monks) and Sub-Baat Moi Kiu (18 Ghost Bridges).
