Streams flow together into the sea. This year we are meeting, flowing together and joining an ocean. Not just males, females and children are meeting, but beliefs as well social, political, mental and spiritual. Is the ocean a melting pot, then? Yes and no. In order to understand (i.e. conceptualize) what is beginning for the mass of us this year, well have to open up to unlearning what we think we know, suspending belief about the way life is. For some this may not be easy, but for others adapting is surprisingly fluid. We are learning that life on planet earth can be pure fun.
Time is a good example of this, both in the coming shift in our perceptions, and the way to integrate what unlearning means with what is. What we know of time that which we have constructed and believed until now no longer applies. We stop believing we have more or less time; or that we need to compartmentalize it. This is the fluidity and flexibility were talking about here. One could be working with a colleague, for example, while also managing the laundry and shopping online. Its not the ending of time (such as discussed by UG Krishnamurti and David Bohm), but the beginning of it a new construct. Splitting time as we used to know it into more levels, we begin to essentially replicate time as parallel experiences with which we live, like the copy and paste function on a computer.
We are dedicated and participating in more activities than ever before, but we dont feel stressed. There is no longer a work/life distinction: its all life, and were not identifying ourselves with any specific role. Rather, we see the option of playing different roles, joining each one like various rivers to the sea. Because its new and unknown, we dont have images to describe this state of being. But the outline reveals an ineffable field of intuition and basic instincts. All rising from the subconscious, this intuition manifests in us while asleep, and it makes us aware of unlimited possibilities during the day. The possibility to adapt is one of our choices, and it is chosen consciously, like responsibility always is. We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future.
We act increasingly from intuition and instinct. This process is organic (harmonious, natural growth), and from it come no judgments of good or bad. All is seen objectively as it is. If something has occurred it must be for the good (if a good can be assigned); and we have undergone something we clearly needed to learn. Our awareness of the meaning of life is transforming. There are still prowlers, people who use their new powers of perception to cheat and take advantage of others. Those who dont get it are especially vulnerable. WWW.TRENDSLATER.COM
