Alan Keyes Barred from Presidential Debate and "Kidnapped" by Atlanta Police - 1996

On March 3, 1996, Alan Keyes was barred from participating in the presidential debate in Atlanta, George--after he was originally invited. Dr. Keyes and supporters had camped out on the grounds of WSB-TV and had been fasting.

Because of his persistence to try to get into the debate, Dr. Keyes was subsequently handcuffed by police and led away.

This infringement of free speech was but one of many times the media elites prevented Dr. Keyes' message from being heard by the people of the United States.

Keyes combines three traits, all of them highly desirable right now for a leader to have in a nation like the United States which is in the worst state of decline in recorded world history.

1. He's a genius. Period. Even other geniuses think of him as a genius.

2. He's stubborn. Like a bulldog. Firm convictions are rarely found in extremely intelligent people.

3. He's a devout, charismatic Christian Constitutionalist and never compromises his core principles.

For those of you who think Alan Keyes is crazy, ask yourself what kind of man could go through this charade repeatedly and not have given up by now. You'd have to be persistent and tough as nails. In this video, a legitimate candidate invited to the debate is forbidden entrance and handcuffed at the door. This sort of thing happens to Keyes all the time and the guy doesn't quit. I'll bet you if Keyes was a Marxist like Obama they would have met him at the door with cheese and caviar.

1. Genius is just a relative term and intelligence is not quantifiable. You might find him to be a genius, and I might not!

2. I don't think we need a stubborn president. We need a leader who will stand by his or her conviction, but also be able to identify when he or she is wrong.

3. America was founded as a Christian Theocracy, but over a hundred years after that, the constitution made it clear that congress had no power to establish religion.

@TexasArcane Your conclusion is completely wrong. First Keys had been "uninvited" to this debate. He is nothing but a distraction, and only runs now and then to keep his profile high so he can be paid for speaking engagements. Mush like Sara Palin has been doing.

Keys has never won a single election he has ever competed in. He is to whacked out even for the right wing whack nuts.
