Lexicon MX200 Dual Reverb and Multi Effect Processor
Whether youre looking for raw processing power with instant front-panel access for live performance, or seeking rich, smooth and complex processing algorithms in the studio, Lexicon brings the best of both worlds together in the MX200 Dual Reverb Effects Processor. The MX200 is a dual-processor, single rack space multi-effects processor designed with both live sound reinforcement and home recording in mind. Featuring the deep, rich reverb and effects algorithms that built the Lexicon® legend, the MX200 offers increased versatility with dynamics and specialty effects all instantly accessible via the extremely intuitive front panel.

In the studio, advances in computer-based recording have led many engineers to value the instant control and heads-up use of plug-in effects but many still yearn for the rich, complex sound of a dedicated processor. Now, Lexicon provides a USB interface with an intuitive cross-platform VST plug-in window, allowing the MX200 to function as a hardware plug-in recognized and functioning within a VST-compatible DAW as a plug-in effect, but still operating as a dedicated hardware unit. This unique USB plug-in feature allows MX200 users to easily add legendary Lexicon effects to their computer-based recordings within the graphical interface that appears in the recording application like a plug-in, with full automation and recall features. Now software-based recording engineers can enjoy the legendary Lexicon reverbs and effects, and stay focused on the heart of their studio the application window of their recording software.

  • @gibsoneer321 Not sure if you'd have enough routing options with the MX200 unless you only want to run one of the effects per channel and run in dual mono mode. If you are running direct into the unit rather than using a mixer's send, on the mic you'd need a preamp first to get it up to line level, and on the guitar you'd most likely need something like an Ebtech Line level shifter to convert the signal from instrument up to line level (-10db to +4db)

  • I'm trying to use this unit for a live gig performance,I have the QSC K-10 powerspeaker. Is there a way to run both guitar and mic for vocals thru this processor with out having to use a mixer

  • These namm type product videos are absolutely pointless. Unless somebody makes some SOUND with it !!!

I don't know about you, but I'm not gonna be remotely tempted to buy one unless I hear what it can do.. call me old fashioned.

  • ok unless your talking through the effects your actually talkin about talk away...other than that....shut the fuck up

  • Wot? just talk, no sound ??? loll Anyway, this is an amazing unit that sounds really good. I choose it over the more expensive menu driven ones, for faster access to setting both processors. I usually use processors in series. Reverb makes my minimoog sound like a frigging church organ. When i add tape delay, it mesmerizes my audience and I get : I did not now a minimoog could do that. Then I grin ;)

  • @djtainy2009 I agree it can do.. But that's when I realised I had the aux send way too low and after that it wasn't too bad. Though I'll admit I did think you were talking about the sound. Any comments on that?

  • @tomhiggins1 because i have one and make lots of white noise
