Having just received word that another great jazz guitarist has past away, I decided to upload this video in rememberance of Kenny Poole, who died in the afternoon, on May 27th, 2006.

Life really is amazing. Here I am, on a quiet Saturday, trying to wrap my mind around another surgery for cancer this coming week. Listening to Tommy Emmanuel with Frank Vignola, which led me to a T.E. seminar where he makes reference to Ted Greene, which eventually led me here. It's a pretty good day after all.

I've been studying a long time and I can play very good single note solos and comp well. That being said, guys like this who do it all by themselves completely knock me out. It's sad that this kind of playing is a dying art. This is the way a guitar is meant to be played.
