Loved how they used to end all of thier shows with this.
Like cadillac seats U2 and I go way back. Loved Boy, War and Josha Tree was a masteriece. They have had some wonderfull hits since too

I am a huge u2 fan, so I kinda tend to disagree with negative things people have to say about them; however, i think youre onto something. U2 of the 80s is very different from their 90s and 00s stuff. BUT I completely disagree that their 90s and 00s are crap, as you say. Achtung baby, released in '91, was praised as one of the best U2 albums. It is my favorite one, and has some genius songs. But they sound very different from songs in Boy, War, October...which is maybe the reason you dislike it.
