Where's Kirkby, Croxteth, Speke and Netherley? All the interest is in the centre of Liverpool. What about the people that live FOR Liverpool; have grown up here? We can't afford to shop in L1 due to the the low wages offered by the employers and the cuts that this ConDem government are making.

I know Speke was not part of Liverpool until around the 1930's(?) - and Croxteth, Kirkby and Netherley were all previously farm-land until the council decided to move peoples out of the city, thus creating these satellite towns. I did purposely concentrate my films on 'old' Liverpool - town centre and the immediate surrounding areas

@urtube2k9 At 2mins or so, there are images of derelict houses which have recently been pulled down to make way for newer homes. Some say the developers are destroying the old fabric of the city?

Crime is one of the lowest for any metropolitan areas in the UK - lower than the West Midlands.

I'd love for you to come to Liverpool and see what a fantastic, vibrant, multicultural city it is.

Much better than Birmingham - and I at least speak from experience - how much experience of Liverpool do you have?
