Half-Life 2 - Portal Gameplay

hey people... i have a question... my pc is decent, and i used to be able to run portal at max settings 1680x1050 16xaa and 16xaf. I played the game yesterday, and some textures turned pink.. the green goo looks like a weird red and the portals look bland and down right annoying. if any of you know what i am talking about... could you please help me? thanks

That didnt even make sense. You ARE an idiot. Obviously you have a really bad computer and had to set everything on low, yet Source is optimized to play on slow computers. Set everything on high, hdr, shader detail, and go cry. You'd even think modern warfare 2 was shit if you have too sucky of a computer. so shut up. It's like, no IT IS talking to an idiot.

MW2 DOES look like shit, you really need to play games with more quality. Plus MW2 is as casual as a Wii game anyway.

Yeah, they're made for low end pcs AND high end pcs, depending on which you have, they work either way, fantastic graphics for high end pcs still running with a good fps. If you set everything to low you get a hella fast fps. and mw2 does not look like shit, he doesnt know what graphics are.

i got Portal on my PC...great game..but too short..beaten full game in like 3 hours first time playing

Shut the fuck up idiot, it's not our fault you either have a shitty computer that can't run source on high, or you obviously have NO source games at all. If they had 'Xbox' graphics, why would they be sold on 360?
Source easily has 360 graphics.
