Belly Dance Elements - Veil Workshop 11 10 09 Pravaz

This is some footage of the Veil workshop held by Belly Dance Elements 11 10 09 - the Music is Pravaz. - Arian Band. This routine was a lot of veil arm work, with not much belly dance! None of the students had used a veil before. This was a hard veil routine for complete veil beginners, but the ladies had a fantastic day! The music seemed to had a nice Spanish feel to it, although i know the band is not Spanish! so the routine was pictured around using a matador's cape! (would love to teach some fella this routine!)

This looks like a lot of fun! Can you tell me, by adding that extra sequin (?) trim to the veil, do you find it adds a significant amount of weight? It looks like that may be the case, and I've been thinking of adding that to a veil of mine because the flow of the veil takes on such a different look.
