Isn't it funny how some people can't take another person's differing opinion without resorting to name-calling? That's usually what stupid people do, which would explain why you think Carol Lynley was "one of the all time greatest" actresses. She was, in fact, a beautiful woman. As an actress, she was a joke. Her "acting" was so terrible that it can't even be described. Anyone who thinks her acting abilities makes her "one of the all time greatest" has very low standards or is a true "retard".

As I said before, idiots who can't handle a differing opinion resort to the kind of name-calling we see here. I said it nicely the first...the second time I was a little stronger...this time I'll just be blunt. Her extreme beauty is what got her movie roles, not her acting ability. She was such a bad actress that she would have had trouble playing a beautiful blonde. As for you, you need to get a life and get over the lesbian obsession you have with Lynley.

I can handle diffiering opinions but it seems you can not. Each time you post you make it seem like Carol was the worst actor of all time, which is hardly the case. Someone can not have a 30+ year acting career on their beauty alone. Was/is she the best actress in the world no, but she isn't the bad actress you want to make her out to be.

That's a matter of opinion. I think she WAS one of the worst actesses of all time. For example, I think she was one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood at one time, but I know people who don't think she was so great-looking. I think they're blind, but that's their opinion and they're entitlied to it. They shouldn't be verbally attacked as I was by someone like the lesbian EUROLADY2008  who worships her.

I always thought she was a hot one. I was about 12 when the Poseidon Adventure was out. I dated a girl who looked a lot like her in High School, too.

But she's like 65 now and really old, Sad to see that happens to us all. Beauty is fleeting!

It always annoys me that her character in The Poseidon Adventure survives when so many others die. She couldn't even climb a ladder or swim 30 feet unaided.

I was 7 when I saw her in "Once You Kiss A Stranger"" then in the Poseidon Adventure.
Like "Bunny Lake" and Yum Yum Tree too...
