Since 2002, Quartier des spectacles has also been the site of an economic, urban, and cultural development renewal that is drawing on its numerous assets to strengthen Montréals image as a great international cultural center. Thanks to the Quartier des spectacles Partnership, the neighborhood is being developed according to an integrated vision and a strong identity built on consensus. It is also the setting for numerous group projects already completed or currently underway, including an award-winning lighting plan; La Vitrine, a cultural information and last-minute ticket booth; the OSMs Adresse Symphonique project; Le 2-22 and a project to enhance public spaces in the Place des Arts node, which includes place des Festivals, among others.
