  • Yea a lot of Europe is like that, they really appreciate the elements. It's crazy that after all these years cats in the USA can't evolve their tastes to feel foreign hip hop but they can evolve them to fuck with that bullshit all over the radio now.

  • @cesposito exactly, you would think that since usa mess with genres from other countries like rock music or pop etc but when it comes to hip hop, they're so ignorant, just like i explained in my rant

  • Yea the only song I dug was the single with Angie Stone. She's dope. Paradisaque is pretty good, a little more funky than Prose Combat which is more gutter imo. I got it in like 98 from a friend in England, it was all she could get but I said fuck it, it was so cool to me to have some French hip hop.

  • @cesposito oh thats whats up, yea french hip hop is dope as hell, they really embrace the 90's over there, too bad french hip hop isnt as accessible here, or british, they need to have a foreign hip hop section in stores here in the us, but that'll never happen

  • The first Jazzmatazz was ill. Le Bien, Le Mal was my shit! I loved MC Solaar back in the day. I have Paradisiaque as a matter of fact!

  • @cesposito word, down the backstreets is my favorite track on that album, i also liked part 2 which i felt was very slept on imo, streetsoul wasnt that great, mc solaar is dope, how is that paradisaque album? prose combat is dope, but i only have a burned copy, i want a og copy of that too, lol
