Earth Rangers Holiday Challenge: Kids VS Grown Ups

This holiday season, take the Earth Rangers Kids VS Grown Ups Challenge! Kid's across Canada are raising $10,000 dollars to protect the REAL reindeer: the Woodland Caribou. Grown Ups, think you've got what it takes to match them? Take the challenge!

Earth Rangers and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Canada are sending a team of scientists into the skies of Northern Ontario. They'll be watching over huge areas to find, count, and map Caribou and their tracks and learn how developing the land affects these shy animals.

WCS Canada scientists will also be tracking radio-collared female Caribou. They'll be locating these animals and finding out how many of them have had calves that are still by their side. They will also be counting caribou in areas that are located in areas where mines may be built. Your donation will help the scientists collect information needed to understand how to best protect these sensitive animals while boreal forests are changing.
