Phil is obviously one of the best coaches of all time but you can't ignore the fact that he was coaching Michael Jordan and then Kobe and Shaq. Popovich is much better at working with the players that he has. To be fair, I actually was drunk, the thing about russell and jordan was irrelevant.

As a "New Yorkah" am saying get Melo the fuck out. The ball stops in his hands he bitches and moans when he doesn't and he will have a negative affect on the rookies and sophomores. Stoudemaire needs the ball to move in order for him to be in the paint and Melo ain't the one to let the ball flow. Period that's why the nuggets are doing better without him.

Even though I'm not a Knicks fan, it would've been awesome seeing Phil coach Melo and Amare and see how they played in the Triangle Offense. But I can't really blame him for turning down the job. The Knicks are a terribly run organization...
