@JudgeEden Nobody worships statues that I know of. "Mary is no longer the mother of Jesus" What? are you serious? Why do you insist on disrespecting the mother of Jesus? Mary's last recorded words in the bible were "Do what ever HE tells you". Mary is not worshiped, she is honored. Elizabeth, the mother of John (you know the baby that "leapt in the womb with joy"" said "who am I that the mother of my Lord should appear unto me" An ANGEL called her "full of grace". People dont just bow to artwork, or kiss it. What you do is worship. Mary is no longer the mother of Jesus, and you cant prove biblically that she is. Enoch and Elijah were taken to Heaven and the Bible outright said it. Where can you find Mary was taken? Mary is dead, just like most others.

@JudgeEden Statues and icons are ARTWORK. Jesus is both man and God. He lived His life on earth in perfect adherence to the LAW of the Torah. One of the ten commandments was to "honor your father and mother". As King of heaven and earth, it is also HIS prerogative to honor HIS MOTHER whatever way He wants. im just so glad i opend the bible and read for myself! i woke up i broke all the images and statues i had and i only pray to jesus cuz he's the only one that can save me. mary is in heaven she cant hear us, only jesus. remember only one meditador.. im christian now not catholic no more !!! and it feels real GOOD!!!

However, bowing and kissing statues are things which scripture specifically condemned. Kissing a statue is not the same as kissing a person. And asking Mary to pray for you, when she's dead, is a form of divination. You're not talking to Mary, she cant hear you. But I know of spirits that are more than happy to hear you, and they aren't good.

Anyway, I hope you'll eventually realize what i've said is the truth.
