The individual is Matt Cohen a well respected Shifu of Silat and other Chinese Gong Fu styles. I asked him to work with me because he is an excellent kicker and is used to fighting and can take a punch and fall quite well.

Thanks for you comments. The way these methods are applied it almost gives you the weapon after the entry is made. As I flow in the palm hooks over his arm and then as the turn continues it slides down his arm so the Bat comes right into my hand. When I first discovered how to do this it surprised me how easy it was. Correct principles and very rapid footwork are the keys.

I am always blown away when I see demonstrations of people using "real" street weapons{bat,tire iron...} then when the demonstrations are done with speed and intent{as this one is},it takes it up another fear notch for both partners, ...The control issued from Dr.Painter is fantastic...excellent job.
