On this summer day, the LV 211 pulls the PRR Pine Falls over territory this car has never seen. As the 211 eases the Pine Falls through the sharpest curve on the railroad, the on ground conductors and others watch to make sure each wheel is staying on the rail. Once the locomotive and car have cleared, the curve, the train comes to a halt to pick up the conductor and I. As we climb the rest of the grade, the 211 accelerates toward our final station stop on the RGV Railroad.

  • Jeez Luther, you guys must use some sort of special ground agent to keep it warm enough to run the diesels.. Especially in February!
