The Santiago de Compostela Cathedral is the reputed burial-place of Saint James the Great, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ. There you can see the "Botafumeiro" a famous Thurible or a metal censer suspended from chains, in which incense is burned during Mass. It is used in the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglicanism, Old Catholic and other churches.... The name "Botafumeiro" means "smoke expeller" in Galician one of the 5 official idioms in Spain
